Hometown Arcade is at 85 Washington Street in Bloomfield, in the center of town. It is a free play arcade, so a single admission covers the machines rather than a pocket of quarters, and it carries classic arcade cabinets, pinball, skeeball, bubble hockey, air hockey and modern consoles. The room was fitted out with big windows and high ceilings to be a place families walk into rather than a dark corner, which is what separates it from the arcades most adults remember. Admission and opening times are published by the arcade.
What our technicians can tell you
A big open room with high ceilings changes the drying arithmetic, because dehumidification is sized to the wet material and the air around it, never to the floor plan on the estimate. Once the room is dry the rest of it is a cleaning problem, and carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning sit with water damage restoration on one team here. Water damage is the primary work. Either way the estimate is written before anything starts and there are no hidden fees. In Bloomfield the same team does both.
