Dundee Island Park sits on the banks of the Passaic River in the City of Passaic. It was completed in 2019 and is the first riverfront park in the Passaic County park system and its first addition in fifty years, built on ground that had been unused. It carries a river walk, an amphitheater, an athletic field and a field house, and it is used for community events as well as for a walk by the water. Passaic County parks are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
What our technicians can tell you
Dundee Island Park was built on ground beside the river that had carried nothing else, which is the same reason the streets behind it take water in a storm. In a finished basement the first job is the assessment rather than the equipment: where the water came from, how long it sat and how far it traveled, then the category and the class. Emergency extraction runs at any hour and structural drying follows it, with readings logged at fixed points each day until they hold at a dry standard. That is what ends the job, and no set number of days does: hardwood, plaster and concrete give their water up slowly and take longer than a carpet. The same team covers Passaic County for water damage, mold remediation and cleaning.
