Pulaski Park is a township park in Bloomfield, at 24 Mt. Vernon Avenue, on the block between Chapel Street and Howard Street. It covers 6.5 acres and carries four lighted tennis courts, a handball court, a lighted softball field, a community garden and a tot lot that has been rebuilt. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. The softball field is booked through the township on a permit, so a team that turns up without one can find the field already spoken for. The courts and the softball field are the only lit ground in the park, so the rest of it closes with the light.
